Dr. Frame has an excellent article on the outbreak on the US Tornados website.  It is good reading and very informative.  Here is the link.  Dr. Frame provides a detailed breakdown of the storm and provides some takeaways from the event.

The podcast discusses Ham radio’s involvement in storm spotting and providing information to both the Indianapolis NWS and the Northern Indiana NWS.  This highlights the importance of having reliable, trained storm spotters to pass information to meteorologists during a severe weather event.
